Thomas Martino started his studies in 2008 at Lachance Ballet in Rome.
In 2011 he joined the professional training Agora coaching project under the direction of
Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli.
From 2012 till 2015 he worked as a freelance dancer in different companies like MM Company,
Fabula Saltica, Palermo Danza, Duende Company and others.
In 2016 he became a member of Ballet of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Munich under the
direction of Karl Alfred Schreiner were he had worked with William Forsythe ,Marco
Goeke,Damian Jalet,Marina Mascarell,Lukas Timulak, Eyal Dadon, Stain Celis etc.
In 2019 the Gartnerplatz theater nominated Thomas for the Bayerische Kunstforderpreis.
In 2019 he joined the Ballett Theater Basel. He has worked with choreographers such as
Richard Wherlock,Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal,Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui,Andonis
Foniadakis,Hofesh Shechter , Imre & Marne van Opstal and Marcos Morau.
Since 2019 Thomas is teaching all around and from 2023 he is Assisting Drew Jacoby and
Edward Clug .He is also working as a freelance dancer in many other different projects.
