Cannes-Mougins is an internationally recognized training center for future dancers from over 21 nationalities. It is part of the higher education institutions accredited by the Ministry of Culture. The Cannes Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower is formed by twenty students in their final year of pre-professional training, preparing for their Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de danseur. Their repertoire blends classic ballet works, creations by young choreographers, and revivals or new works by more renowned choreographers.
The Youth Company is one of the PNSD’s educational tools. It allows student-dancers to develop their stage experience in real-world conditions. The students confront the realities of a choreographic artist’s career by deepening their commitment to this path.
