Angelica Stella studied dance from the age of three and soon began her career as a professional dancer, a career that led her in 2004 to study in New York and dance for the Martha Graham Dance Ensemble, as well as for the main company.
As an integral part of the preparation of the company’s dancers, the first encounter with the method of Joseph Pilates takes place in New York, in the city where the master opened his studio as soon as he arrived in America. And she was immediately fascinated by it.
Returning to Italy, as well as continuing her projects as a dancer, Angelica began training to become a Pilates instructor and, after completing the total course of 450 hours, in 2012 she obtained full certification from the Pilates Network school, recognized by the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) under the direction of her mentor Jolita Trahan.
He perfected himself with internationally renowned teachers such as Madeline Black, Alan Herdman, Nora St John, Jullian Littleford with whom, in addition to refining his teaching technique, he specialized in the treatment of shoulder and hip pathologies, scoliosis and osteoporosis and the correct breech support.
Since 2009 she has been part of the staff of the Pilates Touch Studio in Florence where she teaches group courses and individual sessions and in 2010, under the invitation of Jolita Trahan herself, she began her internship to become a teacher and Master Trainer for the Pilates Network training school and was subsequently invited to present training courses, master classes and workshops for instructors at major conventions and festivals in Italy.
In 2014 he also became the official Master Trainer of the MOTR tool for the Balanced Body. In the summer of 2017 he returned to collaborate with Adria Ferrali, teaching Pilates to the dancers of the first edition of the DAP (Danza in Arte a Pietrasanta) Festival, an international event that took place in Pietrasanta.
In 2017, while continuing her collaboration with Studio Touch and the Pilates Network training school, she opened the Angelica Stella Personal Pilates studio in Seravezza, in the heart of Versilia.
