Raffaele Iorio began his dance training in 2009, immersing himself in a variety of disciplines that would shape his versatility as a performer. Eager to refine his skills, he expanded his education internationally by studying in New York at renowned institutions such as the Alvin Ailey Dance School, Peridance Center, and Steps on Broadway.
His professional journey has taken him across major stages in Italy and abroad. He was part of the cast of Divina Commedia Opera, which toured some of the most prestigious theaters in Italy and China, with choreography by Massimiliano Volpini. He collaborated with Giuliano Peparini in two large-scale productions: ULISSE – L’ultima Odissea, performed at the ancient Greek Theatre of Syracuse, and The Fisherman’s Dream in Doha. He danced with the ARB Dance Company in INNER, choreographed by Francesco Annarumma, and NO QUESTION, choreographed by Irma Cardano. His international experience includes performing with the Michael Mao Dance Company at New York Live Arts and appearing in Macbeth at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie with Balletto di Roma.
Raffaele was also part of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation concert at the Sferisterio in Macerata, under the choreography of Kristian Cellini. He danced in Le Creature di Prometeo, a production by Daniele Cipriani Entertainment, and took part in several works with Marco Auggiero’s Mart Company.
In addition to his theatrical career, he has ventured into television and film. He appeared in Danza con Me alongside Roberto Bolle, broadcast on RAI, and in Qui ed Ora, a TV program hosted by Massimo Ranieri. He was also featured as a dancer in a Netflix series with choreography by Gianni Santucci.
