Born in Polignano a Mare in 1996, Monia L’Abbate began her dance training in her hometown and later continued her studies under Natalia Strigina, maître de ballet.
In 2018, she moved to England to deepen her knowledge of various contemporary dance styles and had the opportunity to learn from some of the world’s leading choreographers and teachers, including Dada Masilo, Carlos Acosta, Crystal Pite, Rambert Company, Ohad Naharin, Adam Parson, Frey Faust, Josette Baïz, Yaron Shamir, Nico Monaco, Emio Greco, and Sam Amos.
She later returned to Italy, where she continued her professional development through the FormAction Movement program in Brindisi, focusing on contemporary performance and choreographic creation.
Since 2020, she has worked as a freelance dancer, collaborating with various companies across Italy.
