Miglė Praniauskaitė

Miglė Praniauskaitė is a dancer and choreographer with a master’s in dance education at the  Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. She previously worked as a contemporary dance techniqueteacher at The National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art, as a lecturer at Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences and the Lithuanian University of Educational
Sciences. Founder of FOS Dance Studio. In addition to her teaching and coaching experience, Miglė is an active participant and choreographer of various TV projects, events, and performances, including 1st place winner of the TV show Red Bull Flying Bach Local Challenge; Lithuanian National TV LRT project “DANCE!” 3rd place winner; participant of the TV show Dance Revolution and multiple winners of Grand Prix and 1st places in Lithuania and Europe; a dancer for the music band The Roop, which won Lithuania’s national selection for Eurovision in 2020 and 2021. Her first full evening dance performance Reconstruct (2015) was nominated in the prestigious Lithuanian theater awards – Golden Stage Cross – nomination for “Young Artist/ Debut of the Year” – for the performance and choreography (2016). After her debut as a choreographer, Miglė established her own dance company and in 2018 she created her second performance Sunbathing Mole, which was very well received by the dance community and general public. In the same year, Miglė Praniauskaitė Dance Company was Lithuania’s first contemporary dance company to perform in Dubai, UAE.
