Giuliana Mele trained in Puglia. She joined the Kitonb Extreme Dance Theater Company in 2008, in the production of “Carillon,” with which she toured China, Romania, and Portugal.
Since November 2009 she has been a member of the Spellbound Contemporary Ballet and participates in all productions of the Dance Company hired by the Artistic Director, Mauro Astolfi, as well as special projects such as the performance installation La Mode signed by Tomoko Mukajiama, the “Pa|Ethos” project by Sang Jijia, the creation “Seasons” by Jean Guillaume Weis and “Marte” by Marco Morau.
Giuliana Mele teaches permanently at the Daf Dance Arts Faculty in Rome and holds repertory stages throughout Italy. In 2021 Giuliana worked as Assistant Choreographer for Mauro Astolfi for the creation of the “Poco” project at Ballet Augsburg in Germany.
