Martin Harriague

Born in 1986 in Bayonne, France, Martin Harriague began dancing at 19 after being inspired by a performance of The Nutcracker. He has danced with companies including Malandain Ballet Biarritz, Ballet National de Marseille, and Noord Nederlandse Dans. Martin joined the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in 2013. As a choreographer, he has created works for various European companies, blending physical and explosive movement with influences from pop culture and current events. His piece “Beauty and the Beast” won the Scapino Production Prize at the Hanover International Choreography Competition in 2015.
