Lukáš Timulak works in the fields of performing arts and film. As a dancer, he has
worked with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and Nederlands Dans Theater.
He has choreographed for several companies around the world, including NDT,
Ballet de Göteborg, Balé da Cidade de São Paulo, Royal Swedish Ballet,
Staatsballett Hanover and Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon.
His interest in filmmaking led him to study intensively at the New York Film
Academy, where he honed his skills as an editor and director of short films and
documentaries.
Since 2004, most of his work has been in collaboration with designer Peter Bilak,
focusing on new concepts for contemporary dance. In 2017, they set up the Make
Move Think foundation for interdisciplinary artistic collaboration.
