Jacopo Giarda, a dancer and performer, graduated in classical and contemporary dance from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Ballet School.
Throughout his career, he has performed soloist and principal dancer roles in classical, neoclassical, and contemporary repertoire, choreographed by renowned choreographers such as William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Wayne McGregor, among many others, dancing with companies such as Compañia Nacional de Danza in Madrid, Opèra National de Paris, and Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.
In 2019, he founded Beyondance, an organization aimed at enhancing the communicative power of dance.
Currently, he continues his career as an independent artist, collaborating with major theaters and companies, and experimenting and researching with independent choreographers to create a more poetic and transcendent form of dance.
