Giulia Finardi

Born in Brazil in 2002, Giulia Finardi began dancing at a young age, gradually focusing her training on contemporary dance. She was a finalist on Brazil’s Got Talent and participated in numerous national and international competitions, including the Youth America Grand Prix in New York and Danzamérica in Argentina, 

In 2014, she traveled to Europe to attend the Royal Ballet Summer School, an experience that deepened her connection with the European dance scene. In 2019, she joined the prestigious NDT Summer Intensive, marking another pivotal step in her artistic development.

At 18, Giulia relocated to the Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, where she gained the opportunity to perform in works by renowned choreographers such as Roy Assaf, Cayetano Soto, Andonis Foniadakis, and Ed Wubbe. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dance from Codarts in June 2024 and began her professional career as an apprentice with TanzMainz in Germany.

At Tanzmainz, she worked under the direction of notable choreographers Rafaele Giovanola, Lander Patrick, and Moritz Ostruschnjak, refining her expressive language and versatility across diverse choreographic styles.

Following this experience, Giulia’s freelance career sought opportunities aligned with her artistic identity. For the 2024/2025 season, she is a guest artist with Ballet Augsburg.
