Tamara Fragale is a professional dancer and dance teacher who graduated from the Teatro Alla Scala dance Academy in Milan. In her career, she studied and danced with several important Italian dance companies, including the New Dance Drama of Adria Ferrali, with which she also obtained a Certified training diploma in cooperation with the Martha Graham School of New York City. She has also interpreted choreographic works by famous American Choreographers such as Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey. In the same years, she is a finalist of the first edition of MAB (Maria Antonietta Berlusconi Award) at the Manzoni Theater in Milan. Tamara has danced as a principal dancer with the Milan-based Katherine Dance Company, as a soloist with “Aloysius” and with the Posa in Opera Ballet in Cremona.
In recent years she has continued her collaboration with the DAP Festival artistic director Adria Ferrali and since the summer of 2017, she has danced alongside the Norwegian dancer Thomas Johansen with famous Choreographers such as Kevin Stea and Miriam Barbosa. Tamara was featured as a soloist with the famous violinist Michael Guttman in many occasions and with the world-renown Russian Pianist Boris Berezowsky at the Italian Embassy in Moscow. Tamara is a choreographer and rhythmic gymnastics, and a teacher of classical dance, contemporary, and Pilates technique. Tamara has her choreographic projects which have been presented in St. Petersburg Russia and at the DAP Festival 2019.
