Domenico trained at the Ballet School of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, graduating in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, with the Czech National Ballet under the direction of Petr Zuska and later Filip Barankiewicz, he participated in ballets by Lev Ivanov, Kenneth Greve, John Cranko, Javier Torres, Youri Vamos, Michael Corder, Radu Poklitaru, Alexander Ekman, Katarzyna Kozielska, Andrej Kajdanovskij, as well as works by Petr Zuska, Jiří Kylián, and performed leading roles in works by George Balanchine, Frederick Ashton, and Glen Tetley. He then joined the Ballet Company of Teatro alla Scala, performing in Hans van Manen’s Kammerballett and Roland Petit’s Le combat des anges. In “Serata Quattro Coreografi,” he was among Alexei Ratmansky’s Concerto DSCH’s dancers. In “Serata Contemporanea,” he was among the performers of Birds Walking on Water, a creation by Natalia Horecna. Since September 2021, he has been a soloist with the company. In the performances of Nureyev’s Don Quixote at Teatro Arcimboldi, he debuted as the Gypsy. For Rudolf Nureyev’s La Bayadère, the inaugural title of the 2021-2022 season, he performed the roles of the Fakir, the Golden Idol, and was a soloist in the Drum Dance. In George Balanchine’s Jewels, he danced as part of the soloist couple in Rubies. For Wayne McGregor’s production AfteRite+LORE, he was in the opening cast of LORE and later also in AfteRite. During the performances of Variazioni di Bellezza at Teatro Arcimboldi, he debuted in the solo of Patrick de Bana’s The Labyrinth of Solitude. In the Dawson/Duato/Kratz/Kylián evening, he was among the protagonists of Philippe Kratz’s creation Solitude Sometimes and Nacho Duato’s Remanso. In Manuel Legris’s Le Corsaire, he performed the role of Birbanto. He was one of the three protagonists of Luce, a creation by Andrea Crescenzi, in a world premiere for the opening night of Salone del Mobile 2023. For “Serata William Forsythe – Blake Works V,” he was among the protagonists of the creation Prologue. In the 2023 edition of Gala Fracci, he performed Amedeo Amodio’s L’Après-midi d’un faune. In the revival of Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet in June/July 2023, he debuted as Benvolio.
