Born in Florence, Italy, in 2002, Chiara Bacci is an emerging dancer distinguished by her refined technique and expressive presence. A graduate of the prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Class of 2021), she began her professional journey performing in classical and neoclassical productions such as Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and Paquita under the direction of Frédéric Olivieri.
Following her graduation, she joined the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München, where she further honed her artistry as a trainee of the Bayerisches Staatsballett. During this time, she performed in pivotal works by choreographers including Jiří Kylián (Un Ballo, Lieder Eines Fahrenden Geselle), George Balanchine (Allegro Brillante), Hans Van Manen (Concertante), and Marco Goecke (All Long Dem Day), often dancing lead pas de deux and solos.
Her classical repertoire with the Bayerisches Staatsballett includes Giselle (as a Wili), La Bayadère (Kingdom of the Shades), and Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella. She also appeared in Gerhard Bohner’s reconstruction of Triadisches Ballett and in contemporary works by Lior Tavori and Maged Mohamed, including Appalachian Spring.
In 2023, Chiara joined Ballet Dortmund, continuing her evolution as a versatile artist who bridges the classical tradition and contemporary innovation. Most recently, she has also been selected to appear as a guest performer in Swan Lake (Acts II & IV) and is scheduled to participate in the popular Mediaset TV program Amici di Maria De Filippi (September 2024 – May 2025), confirming her growing recognition beyond the stage.
Chiara Bacci represents a new generation of Italian dancers with international appeal—poised, powerful, and passionately committed to her craft.
