A versatile Spanish dancer, Alfonso López has built an international career performing for acclaimed companies and choreographers across Europe.
He began his professional journey with the Dana Raz Dance Project (Spain/Israel) before joining the ensemble of Stadttheater Nordhausen in Germany. He later became a member of Conny Janssen Danst in Rotterdam, further expanding his experience in contemporary dance.
Since the 2023/2024 season, Alfonso has been a full-time member of Ballet Augsburg, where he continues to explore new creative territories. Throughout his career, he has performed works by internationally celebrated choreographers, including Andonis Foniadakis, Mauro Astolfi, Ihsan Rustem, Ricardo Fernando, Zino Schat, Didy Veldman, Young Soon Hue-Simon, Conny Janssen, Douglas Lee, Ivan Alboresi, Jiří Kylián, Richard Siegal, and Nacho Duato.
Alfonso is distinguished by his ability to navigate a range of choreographic vocabularies, merging technical prowess with nuanced artistic expression.
