Adriano Bolognino was born in Naples in 1995. His creations have been showcased in international contexts including Cross Festival, Kilowatt Festival, BMotion Opera Estate, Fabbrica Europa, Gender Bender Festival, Biennale Danza, Moving Colors Festival, and Artissima.
In 2019, he won the Prospettiva Danza Padova Prize with “RM94978 from Paris to Tenerife.” He is one of the choreographers of Anghiari Dance Hub 2019, where he created “Gli Amanti,” a piece selected for Aerowaves 21 and Anticorpi XL 2021.
The Venice Biennale commissioned him for a new work for the 2020 festival (“Your body is a battleground\solo version”), selected in 2021 for the Campania Teatro Festival and Italy dei Visionari.
The project “Rua da Saudade” won the Call for Creation 2021, earning an artistic residency at Orsolina28. It was subsequently selected as a finalist for DNA Appunti Coreografici 2021. Additionally, it was chosen for the NID Platform 2021, and with just an excerpt, it won the Cortoindanza 2021 award, received the special mention Twain Direzioni Altre 2021, and was a finalist in the Certamen Coreografico Sabadell 2021.
