A Preview to the DAP Contemporary Dance Gala – Sunday Night at the Cloister
In the timeless atmosphere of one of Pietrasanta’s most iconic workshops, the Studio of Massimo Galleni becomes the stage for a new Dance Invasion by DAP Festival. Since 1980, Galleni has sculpted marble in all its forms—from classical to contemporary—using traditional artisan techniques that breathe life into stone.
Amidst monumental blocks, suspended dust, and the tools of the trade, dance finds its perfect setting: vibrant, raw, and sacred. In this space of creation and memory, DAP Festival presents a choreography that awakens the spirit of marble, releasing movement like a flight of freedom among the works.
The dancers move through the studio like ethereal visions—winged creatures, fleeting messengers of a world suspended between flesh and stone. A poetic flight that fuses the transience of motion with the eternity of form.
An immersive experience to witness up close—a whisper among the statues.
