The solo embarks on a profound journey into the echoes of intense desire, passion, and the unrestrained anticipation of Madame Butterfly, describing the intricate nuances of the Puccinian character’s inner world. Overwhelmed by love, Butterfly bravely chooses to uproot herself from her origins and adopts the ‘American’ lifestyle, a culture foreign to her. The emotions of solitude, imagination, dreams, and hope are captured in a dance whose essence serves as a window into Butterfly’s inner turmoil, her moments of ecstasy, and her unconditional devotion to a love that may never return.

TOSCA DUEL explores the complex interplay of power dynamics. Through the interaction between Tosca and Scarpia, we rethink notions of control and its implications in contemporary society. The dance vividly portrays the emotional rollercoaster and power struggle between these characters, highlighting their resilience, cunning, and vulnerabilities. As they maneuver through manipulation, moments of desperation, and eventual confrontation, audiences are captivated by an intense exploration of individuality and the exploitation of sexual power dynamics.
