Art Direction: Mavin Khoo
Choreography: C Joy Alpuerto Ritter & Akram Khan Company
Dancers: Mavin Khoo & Hector Ferrer Text: Mavin Khoo & Jack McMahon

‘Man[or]God’ is a dance confession piece imagined and performed by internationally acclaimed dance artist Mavin Khoo, telling his own story as a queer South Asian man living in London. Exposing the rarely explored space between spirituality and the queer experience, it encapsulates the many identities of a mature man and artist in the setting of London’s nightlife underworld.

Taking the audience into an immersive journey, MAN[or]GOD is a coming together of dance, film and music. To an exclusive score composed by creative and musical director Gideon, the full-length duet is choreographed by Berlin-based Joy Alpuerto Ritter and including a restaged excerpt by world-class dance artist Akram Khan.
