Overview
The Creation Summer Intensive by Adi Schwarz Dance Project is an immersive 11-day choreographic experience designed for young dancers ready to enter a real creative process. Guided by choreographer Adi Schwarz and alongside Michele Simi, participants will collaborate in the development of an original contemporary work inspired by the sculptural artistry of Gustavo Velez. Unlike short-term workshops, this intensive unfolds over a week and a half, allowing time for depth, research, and transformation. The focus is not on learning repertoire, but on building it. Through presence, interpretation, improvisation, and the dynamic balance between structure and freedom, dancers will actively shape the choreographic outcome. Each participant’s individuality and artistic voice will play an essential role in the collective creation.
Who It’s For
Open to dance students and emerging dancers 18 years and older. Advanced contemporary training is strongly recommended
Selection (Video Audition)
To maintain a high artistic level and ensure a cohesive creative group, admission is by selection only. Because this intensive leads to the creation of a new original work specifically for the selected participants, dancers are invited to apply through an open call process. After review, selected participants will be notified directly.
Fees
Workshop fee: Intensive + Performance fee + 1 technique class/day: €670
